Ketamine Infusion Therapy
What to expect:
During each ketamine infusion, a low dose of ketamine is gently administered through a small IV while you rest in a calm, private setting. A board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner stays with you throughout the session to ensure your safety and provide emotional and therapeutic support. The infusion lasts about 40 minutes, followed by a 20–30 minute transition period before you head home with a responsible driver.
What does a ketamine infusion feel like?
Everyone’s experience is unique, but most people describe ketamine infusions as calming, dreamlike, and deeply relaxing. You may notice changes in how you perceive time, space, or your body—similar to a meditative or “floating” state. Some people experience vivid imagery or a sense of emotional release, while others simply feel peaceful and detached from everyday stress.
Throughout the session, you remain in a safe, supportive environment with a board-certified provider by your side to guide and reassure you. The medicine is given at a low, controlled dose, so you are always conscious and able to communicate. Many patients report leaving their infusion feeling lighter, more centered, and with a renewed sense of clarity and hope.

You’ll be supported with skill, compassion, and presence throughout your healing journey.
Conditions we treat:
Ketamine infusions are most often used to help people struggling with depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), especially when other treatments haven’t brought enough relief. By working in a different way than traditional medications, ketamine can offer rapid improvements in mood, reduce anxiety, and ease the effects of trauma—often giving patients a renewed sense of clarity and hope.
