Catlin Barnes is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University. She is currently obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
With over five years of outpatient psychiatric experience, Catlin specializes in the treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, helping patients navigate both the day-to-day challenges these conditions can bring. Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping patients feel more like themselves again.
Catlin also has extensive experience in ketamine-based therapies, including ketamine administration, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), and managing a Spravato (esketamine) program. Through this work, she has guided hundreds of patients through innovative treatment options for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
In addition to her specialty areas, Catlin provides comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication management tailored to each patient’s unique needs, goals, and preferences. She takes an integrative, patient-centered approach, combining evidence-based treatment with a focus on overall well-being.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Catlin now calls Colorado home. As an Army wife and mother of three, she understands the challenges of balancing personal well-being with life’s demands. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys fitness, camping, and living the same wellness principles she encourages in her patients.
Catlin’s mission is to create a space where patients feel truly seen and heard, and to work collaboratively toward lasting healing and growth.
