Catlin Barnes is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University.
Before becoming a PMHNP, Catlin spent six+ years as an emergency room nurse, where she developed critical clinical skills, rapid decision-making abilities, and a deep sense of compassion for people in crisis. That high-acuity experience laid the groundwork for her calm, confident presence and clinical precision—qualities that continue to shape her psychiatric practice today.
Over the past four years, Catlin has led hundreds of ketamine infusions and developed deep expertise in the safe, effective delivery of ketamine-based therapies. She has provided ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, overseen a full Spravato (esketamine) treatment program, and directly supported over a hundred individuals in navigating their healing journeys with these innovative treatments. Her extensive hands-on experience with IV ketamine makes her uniquely equipped to support patients through every step of the process—from preparation and monitoring to integration and long-term care.
In addition to her specialization in ketamine therapy, Catlin offers holistic psychiatric medication management that is deeply personalized and integrative. She believes that medications are just one part of the picture—and that true healing also comes from understanding the role of sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress in emotional well-being.
Now based in Colorado, Catlin is an Army wife and mother of three who values balance, resilience, and authenticity in both her personal life and professional practice. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported as they work together to develop a personalized path toward healing.
